Recipes + Craft + Stories
This project presented a challenge. I had to combine recipes and the craft of basketry into a cookbook and make it all work together. I had the client write up small memories, anecdotes and quotes to make more of a storybook about their two loves—cooking and baskets. I also had very limited food imagery. So many I had to create.

I believe this was the first book I worked on about 15 years ago. It was an Anniversary Journal to look more like a book.

This was the largest cookbook I did in size and in volume—400 pages. They opted for a dark green linen cover with pink metallic lettering. It was so elegant.
